Even if you’re just an individual hoping to get the word out about an event or idea, Under the Sink is the place to be! We can set you up with a username and password that will allow you to access your club’s personal profile on Under the Sink. You will also be able to post your events and meetings on the Event Calendar.

If you’re simply a student or teacher hoping to find out what’s going on at MV for the week, Under the Sink is still a great resource. You will be able to view the Event Calendar, subscribe to SMS news updates, and learn about all of MV’s clubs and organizations!

After over a year of strategizing and planning, the staff at Under the Sink are ready to present the Maumee Valley student body with an entirely new philosophy. Because our school environment allows us to have many active clubs and organizations, it is easy to lose track of the dates of meetings and what each club is about. At Under the Sink, our goal is to give each club leader the opportunity to post frequently about any club updates and events. We will try to make one calendar that allows everyone to see which clubs are meeting on which days. Each club will have its own profile and user name, making communication easy. We hope that we can make Under the Sink a lasting entity at MV, and if you are interested in posting for your club or organization, please see Dillon Stoddard or Mar Willey.

When composing your next shot try this easy solution for better pictures. People often don’t think about getting closer to their subject. By simply stepping closer or zooming in to your subject you will produce better pictures that are filled with the subject. More of your subject will fill the photo which will eliminate distracting foreground and background elements.

Most amateur photographers center their subjects directly in the the middle of their photo. This leads to boring pictures that don’t stand out from the rest. By slightly off-centering you subject you can create a more professional looking picture in no time. The rule of thirds is a method used to accomplish moving your subject away from the middle of you photo. This diagram may help you better understand the rule of thirds.
